Online Now: Mitotic single-stranded DNA suppression by DDIAS Online now:
dlvr.it
Mitotic single-stranded DNA suppression by DDIAS
Xue et al. identify DDIAS as an effector of the CIP2A-TOPBP1 complex. DDIAS is a single-stranded DNA-binding protein that promotes the repair of single-stranded DNA lesions during cell division. This activity is essential in cells lacking the BRCA1 or BRCA2 tumor suppressors or in cells lacking DNA polymerase ζ.
