i think so much about americans spending more on sports betting than movies, music, books and museums COMBINED. imagine if all that money was spent on things more enjoyable and valuable than losing money that you risked in hopes of winning money.

today I learned that the Nicole Kidman AMC ad was written by the guy who wrote the first Hunger Games movie
He is perhaps best known for writing the screenplay to the 2012 blockbuster, The Hunger Games, and his Academy Award-nominated screenplay for the 2013 film, Captain Phillips.
Ray also worked with the advertising agency Barkley to help write the AMC Theatres 2021
"We Make Movies Better" campaign starring
Nicole Kidman. 8]

Not bad, but might I suggest: "My political party has been usurped by Nazis, just as has been loudly predicted by my critics for decades. Having been shown to be so catastrophically blind on this important issue, I've decided to step away from punditry to consider what else I might be wrong about."
A group of white guys have subtly inserted themselves into conservative institutions and church organizations. They all embrace racial grievances. To varying degrees, they embrace white nationalism, antisemitism, and even Nazi sympathies. They are getting added to conservative institutional boards, attempting to purge churches, and are desperate to indoctrinate young conservatives into fascist ideology. They even surround the Vice President of the United States. Some of them believe the United States is at a tipping point, and they want to push it over the edge and rebuild it in their image. You might think it does not affect you, but, in time, you will see their efforts in your church pews, in your kids’ brains, and in your politicians’ mouths. It begins with shampoo.
