I don’t want to sound glib, but if a woman actually wanted to “make up a crime to ruin a man’s reputation,” they’d pick one that people actually give a shit about, like hurting a dog or something.

I need to place an order soon, I've run out! For hot sauce in general I mean, I'm probably not a Pepper X type. :) But I've given money to Chilly Chiles in the past, well deserved, and he's right about the Hot Ones connection, at least for me. I stopped watching but still like what I learned!

Caffeine doesn't replace lost hours of sleep, it only masks the fatigue signals to your brain so you don't realize how tired you actually are. You still suffer the cognitive and physiological deficits from the sleep deficiency, you just can't tell. Which is good actually and fine I've decided

Her son carefully lifted his ochre-stained hand from the cave wall and studied the outline. "That's me. My hand." He looked at the other hands. "Do you know all?" "Some are older than me." "That old?" "Hush you," she laughed. "We don't make these to be seen tomorrow, but because today, we live."

The image is of a four panel comic.
The first panel shows Sarah, the protagonist, working at a desk. A brain next to her says, "We need to take breaks!"
The second panel zooms in on Sarah's face. She is annoyed. She says, "What if I don't listen to you?"
The third panel shows the brain smiling.
The fourth panel shows the brain reaching towards a lever. The brain says, "I'LL MAKE YOU."

I saw the comments from the Defense Minister. "We've been working on this for 10 years" - conveniently when the LPC took majority. I joined Army Reserves in 1995, and they said the exact same thing then, in the wake of Somalia and Airborne scandals. Stop working, start doing, CAF.

Jensen Huang doesn't know his own zip code not because of AI, but because he's so absurdly rich, he's outsourced virtually every daily activity where an address is required (i.e. paperwork, bills, mundane purchases) to administrative staff who barely get paid enough to afford a 1 bedroom apartment.

The point isn’t whether anyone actually owns $800 shoes, it’s that if your shoes cost $24.99, the people at the top see at least $23.99 of that as you spending money on a luxury rather than what you were supposed to spend it on, which was of course giving it to them.
