Incidentally, I saw this the other day (Caffe Lucca in Halifax, Nova Scotia) and I now want to go and buy a coffee there.
Caffe Lucca in Nova Scotia with a genius analogue pisstake of an AI advert, with everything written on cardboard in marker pen, and several staff members' hands coming in with cups from out of the frame.

"We don't use AI for anything but we don't want to be left behind with so many restaurants churning out slick flyers. Here's our best made by humans approximation."

Shocked, nay stunned, to discover that Clive Dunn's 1970s novelty number one hit "Grandad" actually merited a Japanese 7" single release.
Japanese cover art for Clive Dunn's "Grandad"showing Dunn in Dad's Army military attire holding a gun in one hand, standing to attention next to some kind of hewn stone monument, possibly a gravestone. The song title is rendered in katakana in a curiously artistic font, as is the name of the B-side. Other Japanese script informs potential local purchasers that the disc is a British number one hit.

This nonsense should have been nipped in the bud far earlier. The Green Party has an entryist group in Greens for Palestine that is a front for David Miller's Anti-Zionist Movement. Everything this defrocked professor touches turns to shit. Even if the motion falls tomorrow, damage has been done.

Lol I'm just reading a listicle about "six amazing Scottish castles you can actually stay in" and it's so cheaply done it's claiming there's a castle called Castle Wing in Kilmarnock Because it's advertised on the booking websites as being a "castle wing" for rent

I worry that Labour are making a trap for themselves on electoral reform 1) SV *is not* a form of PR. So would do nothing to account for our fragmenting politics 2) Opting for SV would just rehash the referendum on AV, which reformers overwhelmingly lost www.politico.eu/article/andy...

Today, I’ve resigned from the @greenparty.org.uk, as well as the Green Group on both the city and county council. I entered politics because I wanted to stand up for what’s right. I no longer feel that the Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire Green Party will allow me to do this.
Image: Text that reads; ‘Today, I’ve resigned from The Green Party, as well as the Green Group on both the city and county council. I entered politics because I wanted to stand up for what’s right. I no longer feel that the Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire Green Party will allow me to do this. Locally, my Green colleagues have pushed back against council housing in their own wards. I have been threatened for standing up for Palestinians and told that doing so is unimportant. Behind the scenes, I have been mocked for my neurodivergence. My loyalty will always be towards doing what’s right, not what’s convenient. I am excited to continue standing up for regular people across Cambridge ❤️’

My dad is in a care home. He's 77. His formative years were in the late 60s. He liked the Rolling Stones But all the pictures in his care home are of Charlie Chaplin, Rita Hayworth and Spitfires - way before his time! People have a very skewed idea of what 'old' is!
