My recollection is this was one of those “shot in the 2000s” movies that had a hideous dvd transfer and if I’m correct then this is a tremendous upgrade. Still an ugly movie but at least it has a nice, clean image now. Easily the weakest of the trilogy but I like it more than most people seem to.

I saw Gummo as a teenager and wanted to fight Harmony Korine afterwards. That was 20 years ago and through all the growing I’ve done I still can’t entertain the idea of revisiting it. Korine being good friends with Jared Kushner only plays a tiny part in that.
