Metal STRAINS and CRACKS. THE HISS GETS LOUDER.

Crates tumble, SCRAPING across the floor. LOUDER.

SCREAMS cut short, vanishing into void. LOUDER-

INT. ESCAPE POD BAY - NIGHT

A bloody handprint on glass. Blinking lights and oil-stained pipes. SPLINTERING METAL far off; the HISS softer here.

FOOTSTEPS. A body SLAMS into canvas beneath us, yanking the pod door shut. A CLANK as it locks.

INT. ESCAPE POD - CONTINUOUS

Wet tubes and cables, switchboards and slashed padding. No room to move. May as well be a coffin.

(production designer)

Schaedyn McIntyre is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer with a BFA in graphic design. Born, raised, and residing in Los Angeles, CA, she attended Pratt Institute, USC Roski, and Otis for undergrad. Her short film Opus, which she wrote, directed, edited, and animated, was recently selected as part of the 2026 Phantom Film Lab and the Fantasmal Film Fest in Medellin, Colombia.

I just watched THE INERASABLE (2014) and it really blew me away. An unbelievably audacious and genuinely frightening nesting of ghost stories nestled inside ghost stories nestled inside ghost stories. Somehow flips on a dime between cozy and terrifying. Seek this out at all costs.
