You literally can't have a proportional single winner election. Burnham talking about the SV system as one is just an attempt to prepare the ground for implementing it for the commons. And it is highly likely to make the commons *LESS* proportional. It'll justify Labour's sucking up to Reform tho.

This isn't an original idea from Musk, BTW; he's plagiarized the entire argument from Iain M. Banks "The Player Of Games", when the character of Jernau Morat Gurgeh uses it. Banks also goes on to break the argument in closing stages of the book, but I doubt Musk is capable of realising that part.
