I am not very worried about about the Tory Tapestry’s misuse of “doth”. What worries me much more is this sequence of panels which seems to show a small boat full of brown-skinned people followed by a plague of rats running riot and then a lot of dead white people labelled tax payers.
Detail from Conservative Party mock Bayeux Tapestry showing 1. A boat full of brown skinned people. 2. Enormous rats chasing cats. 3. White-skinned “tax payers” dead in the streets.

Hawkstone beer is being advertised as "hard to make, easy to drink". So hard to make they've had to get Tennant's to make their lager for them. So easy to drink, because it's like Tennant's Lager

i worry that men think being A Good Guy is dramatically and heroically intervening on behalf of an endangered woman and then being publicly rewarded on a grand scale when actually being A Good Guy is just usually saying, “hey man that’s not funny” or “wow that’s fucked up” and there is no reward

🧑‍⚖️ Billy, you have been charged with not singing Christian hymns in school contrary to section 47 of the Dark Satanic Mills (England & Wales) Act 2026 that on the 12th day of May at St Nigel's Academy you did sing "We are driving Jesus' Lada" and not "We are climbing Jesus' Ladder". Pen, watercolor, black & white charcoal pencil.

Another featured piece from the Spooky Pants book.

A man in a sweater stands with his hands on his hips looking out of a large window with the curtains open. Things aren’t looking good outside, reader. A massive winged demon is emerging from the clouds as dozens of little ghosts and bone demons rip through the sky. On the ground below we see townsfolk running through the grass. Our man in the window is in no mood for this. He lets us know, “Oh, I am in no mood for this.” His dog looks out the window as well, wagging its tail.

Fantasia (1940) inspired drawing. I think I could’ve gone a little heavier with the chaos outside but we’ll try again with fresh drawings this October. I like how the clouds turned out. Trying to balance my sloppy lines with more detail can be tricky but I think we achieved a good result.

The point isn’t whether anyone actually owns $800 shoes, it’s that if your shoes cost $24.99, the people at the top see at least $23.99 of that as you spending money on a luxury rather than what you were supposed to spend it on, which was of course giving it to them.

Any lives lost due to this closure should be laid firmly at the feet of the far-right agitators who caused this. The way in which anti-asylum activists are putting more and more people at risk should be a wake up call that it is time to genuinely combat them, rather than pandering to their ideology.
