The image is of a four panel comic.
The first panel shows a brain. The brain is saying "I'm 30 and YOUNG! I only recently fully developed!"
The second panel shows a heart. The heart says "I hear ya! I can keep going for DECADES more!"
The third panel shows a spine's face. It weakly says, "I am old".
We zoom out and the spine is using a walker. It continues, "so very old".

When I said something about a good detective being "miss marple on steroids" my friend coined the phrase muscle marple. So I had to draw her.
An illustration in the style of a promo poster, in black line drawing. The text reads: Forget HOT POIROT....meet.... MUSCLE MARPLE!

The illustration shows an old lady in a flowery hat with HUGE GUNS.

YES! My wife @karenlawler.bsky.social (history buff) often talks about the forgotten rebels - the people at the time who were pushing back against the horrors. History gets rewritten as though only modernity understands the horrors. But people knew then. They were living it!

I've been thinking about this piece since I read it the other day and I think there's definitely a truth in there - that some aspects of internet culture have, lets say, reduced the collective critical faculties when it comes to reading & understanding books. But I don't think fandom is the problem.

Tho i fear the moral here is that they are untouchable whilst they’re still making that much money. It’s no coincidence that he’s been dropped as his sales finally go down, not when, for instance, a member of staff complained or when an investigation determined junior women shouldn’t be alone w him.

A photograph of a child in Viking-Age clothing, in a reconstructed early-medieval village, reading a rather anachronistic copy of 'Loki: A Bad God's Guide to Causing Chaos' by Louie Stowell.
