This fine fellow is my pal, Jeremy, from Two Jay's Antiques. As you can see from his stock, he is a man of exquisite taste and is no stranger to making quality, signed, purchases. Looks like he's just made another one...😉😉 #magster #authorlife #antiquesfair #booksales #ukkidlit #kidlituk

Back on a middle-grade streak and what a start I've had! WHEN THE WAR COMES IN by @chriscallaghan.wsocial.eu is a heartwarming tale of family, community and courage, set against the backdrop of the Second World War and the shipyards of Tyneside. Highly recommended! 👍 #ukkidlit #kidlituk #edusky

As planned, I swaggered down the stairs this morning, singing full volume... 🎶Pass the dutchie 'pon the left hand side🎶 It was only after 5 mins, that I realised it's International Youth Day, NOT International Musical Youth Day. Oh, well...some you win.. #Internationalyouthday

With our airwaves / media platforms full to the brim with talk of Christopher Nolan's 'Odyssey', it is very easy to dismiss the 70's vocal trio and disco act. So come on! After me, guys... 'One, two, three, shake your body down! '

With the Magster 3 cover reveal out on Wednesday, I recorded Live and Let Die, yesterday. One is a book about an agent's mission, involving New Orleans and Voodoo. The other is a film about an agent's mission, involving New Orleans and Voodoo. It's only right and proper! #magster3 #ukkidlit

Very sad to hear of the passing of Kevin Keegan. He was a hero of mine, back when I kicked a ball, with muddy knees. Always passionate about the game, and later, management. And if you're as old as me, you'll remember those wonderful Brut adverts, with Henry Cooper. RIP Kevin 😔 🙏

The way of the author is hard... The way of the Antiques, Vintage and Collectables dealer is hard... The music game was hard... Media Sales was hard... The lesson here is life is hard, right? Wrong! The lesson here is...I do bloody pick 'em. Maybe so. But, I wouldn't change much, though! 😜😊

I have a croaky cold voice and have just tripped up a curb in front of a sizeable crowd. At my age, it's hard enough to maintain a decent 'coolness-to-utter pratt' ratio as it is, so to say the numbers have just top- heavied the wrong way, would be just and fair.

Super fun evening at @quinnsbookshop.bsky.social for an evening with @robinince.bsky.social. Robin treated us to cool anecdotes from his immense career and about some of his friends - many names we all know. Neurodivergency and empathy were the poignant points of discussion. Highly recommended!!
