Hmmm. What did I think of the Burnham speech? Maybe too cynical but an awful lot of it is the other side of a distant election, and the party was given 5 years to effect ‘change’ Will they get another chance? Not sure.

shutting down frat houses won't end rape culture, but it will disorganize a lot of rapists, and i think that's probably worth doing if only to destabilize what is apparently an ecology of organizations that functionally exist to rape women per the whole "purpose of a system is what it does" insight.

A lot of discourse about intervening when men start veering into misogynist territory at work. I do have one suggestion that is also a lot of fun. A couple of times I’ve been in a work situation where men have inappropriately commented on women’s bodies. What I did was start commenting on theirs…

Yesterday the barometric pressure dropped about 0.5in/hg in the span of 12 hours, went back up in the next 12, and now it's dropped right back down. It's interesting to think of how migraines have been affected by climate change, as every summer is the hottest and every winter the coldest etc
