Govt minister Josh MacAlister claims unemployed young people are paid with PIP to be out of work. Except PIP isn't an out of work benefit, plenty of people who receive PIP are in work & PIP enables them to do that. Josh knows this. What hes doing is whipping up anger towards disabled people.

Edward Hopper's 'Nighthawks', but the man and woman at the counter of the diner are now Fozzie and Miss Piggy. The guy with his back to us is now Bert, but Bert is being operated by Frank Oz, who is crouched down in front of the counter. I've just read another blog about storage and retrieval, learning as memory and how performance isn't long term learning. If your employer tries to do this at your place of work, & the toilets are for staff only, then they are breaking the law. the EHRC guidance only applies to publicly accessible bathrooms. Private spaces (i.e. staff only) are not covered. Staff can use whichever bathroom fits their chosen gender.

If universities start using ai to grade essays then they're hastening their own demise because why would you need to go to university if you're not getting feedback from humans in an interaction with them. Same for all levels of education. Remove the relational aspects and you remove the point.

In 1907, a large bridge in Quebec collapsed due to poor engineering, costing 76 people their lives. From this wreckage, iron rings were made, given to graduating engineers as a reminder to always put safety over money. Today, the iron rings are no longer from the bridge, but the reminder remains.
