What is really interesting in this exchange is that he fully put Martha MacCallum on the defensive to the point where she was trying to act like she hasn't been a cheerleader for this war -- which anyone who has watched her program the past year can say in unequivocably false.

For all the talk of Ai replacing creatives, the reason this "Tiffany Sloan" is stealing other comedians' jokes is because Ai can't write jokes. LLMs are built on anticipating what word or piece of information you're looking for and comedy is built on surprise. Also, Christ what a weird fetish...

You see, “white Christmas” refers to snow. It’s like rain but the water freezes because it’s cold. It sometimes snowed at Christmas. It was like fluffy white stuff. They’d cancel school for the day if it snowed enough! Nope! No zoom. There was no such thing! I’d just watch daytime tv all day!

It’s funny how it changed from “When I was a kid we walked to school and it was uphill both ways!” to “When I was a kid summer weather wasn’t perilous, the mosquitoes didn’t cause death, and when we left the house the phone calls and emails were not allowed to follow us like predators.”

Just a reminder: Tillis persuaded the woman Hegseth allegedly raped to come forward with her story, and told her that if she did, it would sink the nomination. She did. At great risk to herself. Tillis then cast the deciding vote for Hegseth. Because he’s a goddamned coward.

Danny Trejo, Harvey Keitel and Henry Thomas to star in Daily Wire‘s new pro-ICE movie

What happened?

I thought that Harvey Keitel starred in too few films in recent years... and now this?

"A call sheet seen by Deadline lists Danny Trejo, Harvey Keitel and Henry Thomas among the cast."

Charlie has his hands fold in front and speaks as if he is sharing a cool, important fact, while Frank grins and gestures with his left hand up and open, as if helping the sale. Economist analysis of more than 3,000 US counties finds that in reliably GOP counties, annual deaths now exceed births by 0.4 per 1k residents, while in reliably Democratic counties, births exceed deaths by 2.8 per 1k. Population growth in the GOP counties is largely driven by internal migration.

"In other words, the people who are the most 'polarized' in the U.S. electorate are those who are racist and sexist, and those who oppose racists and sexists."
Screenshot of article which reads: These numbers are relatively similar between Democrats and Repub-
licans, which often leads political pundits to claim this is more evidence
of “polarization,” and that both sides are equally to blame. However,
a closer look tells a more interesting story. The people who are most
likely to vilify and dehumanize their partisan opponents are Republicans
who are high in racism and sexism and Democrats who oppose racism
and sexism. The people who are least likely to vilify and dehumanize
their political opponents are Republicans who are low in racism and sex-
ism. One explanation for these patterns is that those Republicans who
are racist and sexist vilify and dehumanize Democrats because they see
the Democratic Party as a party of racial minorities and women; and
Democrats who score low in racism and sexism will vilify and dehu-
manize Republicans because they consider Republicans to be racist and
sexist. In other words, the people who are the most “polarized” in the
U.S. electorate are those who are racist and sexist, and those who op-
pose racists and sexists.

The term “remigration” is associated with the extreme right and only came into widespread usage in 2023-4. Even Germany’s AfD avoided using the term in 2024 for fear of scaring away voters. Today the US government is celebrating the “victories” it’s racked up in the “ethnic cleansing” column.

Isn't it a founding principle of the country that the press is supposed to hold government and those in power accountable? Do you believe in that?
It is, but they got to treat you fairly. You know, when they write stories that are knowingly false, and everyone knows NBC's, NBC's bad too, but CNN is terrible. (highlighted): MS Now changed their name because they have no friends.

Eric Schmitt was warned about the Jack Smith texts. He used them anyway.
As Republicans on Capitol Hill try to figure out how Eric Schmitt’s bombshell fell apart so embarrassingly, it turns out he was warned that the texts were unvetted.
