The ornery cygnets dwaddled getting into the water and following her so she finally straight up HONKED at them. Then after thinking about it for a moment, one of the cygnets decides to practice taking off after their mom. It was super neat to watch. Swans are absolutely huge up close w/wings out.

An old friend and I challenged ourselves this weekend. We hiked not only the Hell's Point Challenge at Pokagon State Park, but we walked every trail they had. But that was honestly nothing, the real challenge was today, and so was the reward. (pics and video of wildlife & the wetlands below! 🛶🌳🦢)

This is a new fence around a yard near a park and it's mostly there to keep homeless people from getting to this extremely abundant pear tree. Makes me sad every time I walk by it and see the some of fruit starting to rot on the tree.
