Given that Irish government TDs have cited Sweden's decision to introduce a language test for citizenship as justification for Ireland introducing one, it seems relevant that Sweden is finding it difficult to actually do it

Yes every woman has been harassed, many assaulted. But every woman has also experienced invisible loss from moments she avoided harassment. She felt a space becoming unsafe, so she left, while men stayed on. And in leaving, she lost: opportunities, experiences, learning, promotions, even simply fun.

This summer Britain burnt. 3000 people died from the heat. Yet this Government is drilling for more gas, despite scientist warnings & it won't make a difference to bills in the UK. We need to double down on renewables, not bend to the wishes of fossil fuel bosses. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Happy September! 🖼️ Grasset
An Art Nouveau illustration entitled Septembre by Eugene Grasset, part of his "Belle Jardinière" calendar series. It depicts a woman in a garden setting, representing the month of September.
A woman with reddish-brown hair, dressed in a long, flowing brown dress with circular patterns, possibly featuring the Libra zodiac sign. She holds a basket filled with flowers or berries, and a dark shawl is draped around her shoulders.
The woman is in a garden with a pathway leading through it, fountain in background.
