My final couple of days in St Albans before I move north to torc-town... ... and, yes, when you don't have to move anywhere specifically, 'it's got a torc' does come into play... Isn't it magnificent? Especially since it's been cleaned by wonderful Pieta Greaves, who we all still miss terribly. 😔

This is why you don't just dig things up. Look at the amazing info we've got now: We know how it was all placed in ground & we have all of it, none damaged & conservation possible both as excavated & after. We can also look at the soil, for organics, pollen etc. #Archaeology #Detecting #Treasure 🏺

ARREST

A man has been arrested after a boat that had an emergency responder on board was damaged in the English Channel.

We received a report of the incident on Tuesday evening (22 September).

Last night (Wednesday 23 September), a 37-year-old man, of no fixed abode, was arrested on suspicion of destroying ships or fixed platforms or endangering their safety under Section 11 of the Aviation and Maritime Security Act 1990, criminal damage, criminal damage with intent to endanger life, and conduct endangering ships, structures or individuals under Section 58 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995.

He remains in custody at this time.

Riot police in Gosport because that idiot Daniel Thomas is in channel tailing 2 x RNLI boats with refugees, after slashing the boat they were transferred from *while* a member of the RNLI was on board the empty dinghy. He's told all his followers to go to Gosport. He should be f*cking arrested.

My mum wanted the details of her death heard. She strongly believed in the right to die & had a living will. We need to be honest about what death often looks like & that there is often *no* palliative care that can make someone like my mum's death any easier. TW: This thread is a difficult read.
