Wonderful to share our new study! science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… Patients can look well-controlled and still have epithelial death programs running. We found it in nascent IBD lesions on advanced therapy and it flagged who relapsed over 2–3 years. @WEHI_research @NHMRC #ScienceResearch

I’ll always remember Dolly Parton for the fact that she donated $1 million in 2020 to the research that led to Moderna’s COVID vaccine, as well as millions more for childhood vaccine and cancer research. She was an immensely talented, kind, and giving person.

A WEHI-led study has demonstrated a novel late liver-stage malaria immunisation strategy that can generate durable, multi-layered immunity using a parasite-arresting drug candidate. Mosquito bites then boosted the immune response over time. Published in @science.org
