George Romero’s Dawn of the Dead opened in Toronto on July 29, 1979. Earlier that month, all seven members of Ontario’s board of censors (including Don Sims & Mary Brown) gave the film a Restricted rating, as long as Canadian distributor Astral films complied with the following cuts:

A world where a twist ending is repurposed as a video title. where a thing's climax has been removed, leaving an advertisment for the gap where it used to be. such things are commonplace in. the twilight zone

This feels like 2011’s Muppet revival all over again. They make a pilot special for a new Muppet series that is just “The Muppet Show,” and it’s a commercial & critical hit. Then Disney execs seem ideologically opposed to JUST DOING A VARIETY SHOW! deadline.com/2026/09/the-...
'The Muppet Show' Special Got
Viewership & Emmys - Where Is The Disney+ Series Order?
By Nellie Andreeva
September 10, 2026 12:27pmQuote: According to sources, it is not for the lack of trying, and the reasons have been creative.
The Muppet Show revival comes from three main production entities, 20th Television, The Muppets Studio and Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's Point Grey Pictures, which has been driving the effort to bring Kermit & Co. back.
I hear there have been difficulties cracking a premise for an ongoing Muppet Show series that Disney (Disney+ and 20th TV), The Muppets Studio and Point Grey will all be on board for.
There are no active series conversations about at the moment, sources said.
That could change if the Emmy wins give the process new momentum and motivates all sides to find a winning series format.

if i'm Criterion, i'm taking advantage of streaming technology to programme multiple episode orders for The Prisoner currently in the middle of watching this very clever episode order created by some guy on reddit:
Phase I: Orientation

Arrival
Dance of the Dead
Checkmate
Free for All
The Chimes of Big Ben
The Schizoid Man
Many Happy Returns
No. 6 explores his new environment and becomes acquainted with its idiosyncrasies and culture. He puts most of his energy into trying to escape, and by The Chimes of Big Ben he's knowledgeable enough to explain how everything works to No. 8. Events culminate with Many Happy Returns where he realises escape by conventional methods is impossible and he decides to refocus his efforts.Phase II: Community

A Change of Mind
It's Your Funeral
Hammer Into Anvil
The Girl Who Was Death
The General
By the start of A Change of Mind, No. 6 has accepted he's going to be in the Village for a while, having constructed his own woodland gym, but wants nothing to do with his fellow inmates. He just wants to be left alone in his cottage and is hostile to everyone he meets and contemptuous of the Village's enforced gaiety.

He slowly becomes drawn into Village affairs, with actions like helping No. 50 and her father in It's Your Funeral, and taking it upon himself to rid the Village of a particularly sadistic No. 2 and gain some small justice for No. 73 after her suicide in Hammer Into Anvil. If he can't escape, he can at least give his warders the run around and play them at their own games.

By this time, No. 6 is a respected figure in the community and feels somewhat protective of the other prisoners. He's trusted and comfortable enough to read children a bedtime story in The Girl Who Was Death, and takes it into his own hands to protect the Village from another perceived threat in The General.Phase III: Desperation

A, B & C
Living in Harmony
Do Not Forsake Me, Oh My Darling
Once Upon a Time
Fall Out
No. 6's rebellion can no longer be tolerated and No. 1 is impatient for results, with No. 2 being particularly under pressure to get answers in A, B & C. The authorities step up their methods with No. 6 and take increasingly risky actions with drugs and brain experimentation to get No. 6 to crack. As Once Upon a Time starts, he is showing signs of stress and appears on the verge of madness. He has taken to anxiously pacing about his cottage and harassing his fellow prisoners, who have grown wary of his eccentric behaviour.
