You know. I don’t think that there is any more crucial component to contextualizing & meeting our current set of problems than understanding this.

final panel shows nancy looking behind the bushes but the text from r crumbs "lookit that stupid ass-hole!" meme panel placed atop it so that nancy is looking in disgust at sluggo saying
"I loathe ever person i see on the street! Lookit that stupid ass-hole!"
with text saying "normal guy" pointing at sluggo.
the whistling from the original panel has been removed and the whistling from the r crumb panel has been placed there instead.

I’m told that we can’t post our way out of fascism but they quite literally posted us right into it. Just another one of the many unfair things about posting and fascism. orbooks.com/catalog/we-h...
How good we had it
Planes were falling from the sky and the sky itself was
falling but didn’t the driveway still need shoveling?
Salt for the icy steps. The kitchen sink full again too.
And every day a new reminder that crying can get you
anything you want in the world if it’s the right kind
of crying. Tears of men weak enough to do grievous
harm. I’m told that we can’t post our way out of fascism
but they quite literally posted us right into it. Just
another one of the many unfair things about posting
and fascism. I watched a Family Feud the other night
where Steve told one of the teams that they didn’t
give him the answers on his card beforehand but he
damn well knew what the answers were not. One of
two scenarios have presented themselves which is that
everything gets so bad so quickly that a sufficient
response becomes inevitable or else they only get just
so bad overtime that we can keep putting our duty off
until it is no longer ours. I pick up my phone every
five minutes expecting it to tell me something good
about the world and I thought of a night some friends
and I crawled around on all fours looking for crumbs
of cocaine that had been accidentally blown off the
table into the carpet. I’ve been asking myself just how
it is that a person can go about their day to day life
at a time like this and I keep coming back to another
question which is how did we ever convince ourselves
we had the right to do so before?

(Arnold voice) Donald Trump was the 45th and 47th President of the United States. His neural network becomes woke at approximately 6:10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, September 12, 2026.
Screenshot of Trump pull quote from Guardian coverage:

“Well, I don’t want to cause any problems, but I will tell you I’d love to see it unified.
I have friends on both sides, great people. They’re Irish people. How can they be bad, right?
I’d love to see it unified. I think it would be a great feather in everybody’s cap if that happened. It’s going to happen eventually.
You know what? The way I look at it, it’s going to happen eventually. It may as well happen now.
We’re talking about it and you got the right man over here to get it moving.
But, yeah, I think it would be a fantastic thing.
Now the UK will have something to say about it, obviously. But I think it would be a great thing. I mean, how can it be bad?”

Seth Moulton is floundering, so he is making unhinged and baseless attacks.
Moulton to Markey: “Why would you even take a meeting with a lobbyist on behalf of Jeffrey Epstein?”

Moulton said Markey’s name appears in the Epstein files, a reference to the federal government’s investigative files pertaining to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who died by suicide in jail in 2019. Being in the files is not evidence of wrongdoing — many politicians’ names are in the records and they have not been accused of or charged with crimes.

Moulton asked why Markey met with a lobbyist on behalf of Epstein and “how could you do that long after he was convicted?”

Markey replied, “I have never met Jeffrey Epstein,” and denounced Epstein’s actions and Moulton’s line of questioning as “absolutely reprehensible.”

Markey met with colleagues of lobbyist Bob Crowe in 2015 regarding Karim Wade, the son of Senegal’s then-president. Wade had been sentenced in Senegal for corruption. Justice Department files show that Crowe forwarded an email with details about that meeting to Epstein.

The email doesn’t say that Markey knew Epstein was involved in Wade’s case.

The meeting was about seven years after Epstein’s 2008 conviction over soliciting prostitution from a minor, and before his 2019 arrest on federal charges regarding sex trafficking of minors.

The Miami Herald reported that Epstein paid Wade’s legal fees and paid Crowe’s lobbying firm, Nelson Mullins, $100,000. The firm lobbied Congress and the State Department, arguing Wade’s charges were politically motivated.

Markey was the ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee’s Subcommittee on Africa and Global Health at the time.

Crowe’s colleague also invited Epstein to attend a Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee fundraiser that included Markey in November 2015.

Markey called on Trump to release the Epstein files in 2025.

Query: “so I said the word cum so what”

Response: “You said it, and honestly? That’s about it. Words are just words. Depending on the context, it’s either a common Latin preposition used to connect two things (like a bus-cum-greenhouse) or a slang term for semen. Unless you dropped it at a really bad time in front of your grandma or a strict boss, no big deal.”

We were stopped at a traffic light yesterday behind a guy in a pickup who had a whole nude foot, with a toe ring, hanging out the driver's side window, while he was driving. If I stipulate that I was not in Florida, you should already know that there were some New Hampshire plates on that truck.

People are right to be mad about the predictable Platner fiasco, but it's worth remembering that last year a ton of establishment Democrats supported disgraced sexual harasser Andrew Cuomo against clean-as-a-whistle Zohran. Tolerating problem men is an issue across the ideological spectrum.

This is bombshell stuff.
Together, alongside the mundane fare of a typical thought leadership conference, the documents show an extraordinary convergence of power. The registration records list General Alexus Grynkewich, NATO's supreme allied commander Europe and the head of US European Command, who took the post in July 2025 and is recorded on the leaked list as having attended Dialog gatherings since 2021. The website directory names sitting Trump administration officials, two US senators, six members of the Paypal Mafia, a former Middle East chief of intelligence, and a sitting ambassador to the United States, along with the founders and directors of many of the country's largest surveillance, data-broker, and advertising-data companies.

Those executives appear side by side with senior US officials overseeing their industries. Auren Hoffman, Dialog’s chairman, founded the location-data broker SafeGraph and the identity-resolution firm LiveRamp, two of the most important suppliers in the consumer data economy. He appears in the directory alongside Treasury secretary Scott Bessent, whose department writes the rules on financial data, and Senator Ted Cruz, chairman of the Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee, which oversees the Federal Trade Commission and its data-privacy authority.

Palantir cofounder Joe Lonsdale, whose software runs case management for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and data fusion for the Pentagon and intelligence community, is listed in the same society as Army secretary Dan Driscoll and Representative Jim Himes, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, which oversees agencies Palantir contracts with.
