I liked Control Resonance quite a lot (GOTY?), but found myself desperately missing some the humor, "new weird", and general irreverence of previous games (especially compared to the first Control). It tries to hit more emotional beats, which is fine, but I think that risks losing something special.

This may as well be the literal plot to Communion, which is definitely a true story and in no way could actually have been about someone with writer's block who suffers from sleep paralysis and a nervous breakdown. Absolutely not.

The proto-Effin’ Birds was my Tumblr “Swear Trek”. It opened a lot of doors for me and I wouldn’t be where I am today without it. I don’t have plans to revive it (one daily comic is enough work), just wanted to thank it for getting me here on this 60th anniversary of Star Trek.

My SIL is teaching remotely at a school in southern Illinois and I was not ready to learn about the mascot
A mascot painted on the wall of a high school. It says “cornjerkers” and the mascot is an awful ear of corn with brown hair holding a football and kicking, I want to say, a soccer ball.
