I paid my student loan (a hefty $90k thanks to interest being applied from day one) and I would happily support a government paying off other people’s student loans. Just because I don’t benefit directly from the policy doesn’t mean it shouldn’t happen.

I bought a cheap tape measure to go in the little project bag I have for socks — but I find it difficult to read (the numbers are at the 0.5 mark instead of the line) so I decided to mark it up using my metal ruler — and up to 5cm it is true, but then the measurements are out by 2 mm per cm.

Marked up tape measure because the measurements are inaccurate and meaningless.

I just got stung on my ankle (through a thick sock) by a bumblebee and I had no idea that bumblebees *can* sting. I coaxed the bumblebee from my sock to à clover flower and limped inside — so I hope the bee is OK. And me too I guess.
