I grew up in a utopian commune on a random but very healthy diet of raw milk, homegrown vegetables, uncooked lentils & brown bread. I wrote about this in my memoir Home Is Where We Start. When I was teenager, outside the commune, custard tarts & fish & chips became my staple. Today, I’m in heaven.
