Rescue Forensics purports to have brought on more than 100 law
enforcement agencies, including the FBI and Department of Homeland Security (DHS). (A spokesperson for one segment of DHS- Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, or ICE-said that as far as they could tell, they aren't using the software, while the FBI refused to comment on investigations.)
Rescue Forensics' web copy encourages cops to "stop sending subpoenas." Law enforcement, they're saying, shouldn't bother using the legal process when they can get sex workers' histories of online ads using Rescue Forensics-for a price.

Rescue Forensics has said it's "making it harder for bad guys to hide on the internet. And while it's hard to quantify that claim, the company certainly achieved some success in attracting investors: Paul Graham's influential Y Combinator incubator selected Rescue Forensics for funding, after which TechCrunch dubbed the service the

The woman asks "Epistemic or ontic randomness?" When the girl replies what, the woman explains "Are you claiming mere lack of knowledge of my duck-icorn sweater or claiming that the presence of the duck-icorn was unknowable prior to observation?" The girl replies "the first one," causing the adult to say "OMYGOD, THANKS!"

The weirdest part of Gillis’ misogynist monologue was that the punchline implies it’s a contradiction that women would wear tight shorts to the gym, but not want you to look at their butts. But that’s just common sense! We all know women don’t like it when strangers stare at their butts!
