Reached the end of a PCP with £8k negative equity. Hid an AirTag in the trim, handed car back to finance company. Tracked the car to a dealer and bought it at the market price. Saved £7k and they washed and cleaned the car.

They should let the OO match down the Garvaghy Road but residents should be allowed to play whatever non-paramilitary coded music they want on outdoor gig sized speakers at them. YMCA would be hilarious. They wouldn't be able to stop themselves marching in time.

And some of us older family members do tech support for the Gen Z and Gen A family members because they have no sense at all of what goes on under the hood and if they can't make it work by stabbing impotently at an icon on their phone they're stuffed.

Think it shows both the confused position of the govt and the relative powers of new/old media that the PM won't speak to The Sun but still uses the CSAM & disinformation app owned by the guy who advocates for the overthrow of the government.

One of my favorite cases of someone being Wrong on the Internet was a very earnest, very confused vegan who was telling people how cruel honey is; and it eventually turned out they thought honey was made by putting bees in a centrifuge and spinning them around until they threw up.

The atmosphere just hit a new water-vapour record: 27.35 kg of water vapour per m2 in August 2026, ~20 trillion litres more water than the previous record. Warmer air holds ~7% more moisture per °C. More water vapour means more energy to fuel extreme weather.

On the left: a gray cat sitting in a window, next to a desk, with a glimpse of brick wall outside. On the right, an open doorway into a cozy living room, showing a sliver of a second window set at a 90 degree angle to the first.
