What happens if you have legitimate concerns about someone else’s legitimate concerns? You’d probably need to have some sort of system to represent that this stuff is complicated. Maybe a debating chamber and votes. Perhaps different voices and views could be represented there.

Morning. Last week I found out for the first time that Champion The Wonder Horse (stalwart black and white 50s schedule filler up to 1993) was a spin-off. Champion was Gene Autry’s horse, and it was a 1955 cash in on the success of the Gene Autry Show. He’s like horse Frasier.

This happens because podcast hosting services require creators to guarantee there is no third party content at all. This ignores fair use, review etc and is because revenue collection services don’t exist in all territories, and fair use law varies round the world.

It’s not a great comfort given where it’s all heading, but I’m glad that my instinctive “oh, fuck, you turds look like the worst people ever” reaction to the tech disrupter lads didn’t turn out to be some sort of kneejerk reaction I had to revise as they revealed their essential beneficence.
