Amy has almost died of brain bleeds a few times, fights her battles with unbelievable grace and strength with a blood-clotting chronic leukemia for a decade+ now. We talk and pray often these days over the present reality of living and dying. Watching how you honor Hilari is a blessing to observe. 🙏

What a great picture of you two! 🙏 Amy and I were there in 2000 and have hilarious memories of traversing the grounds with a particularly goofy French friend of mine and his wife. His wife was quite pregnant, and I was on crutches, so there was plenty of fuel for joyful, slapstick physical comedy.

I try to be a peer reviewer who reviews the paper presented, not the imaginary one it could be with many years of work. Sometimes work, even from labs I respect, doesn't meet the standard. Today I re-reviewed a paper & was impressed at how the authors did the work to solidify their claims. Kudos 1/n

Perhaps the rate of increase is slowing down a bit, but during quite a lot of this year, many tools in this domain have been experiencing ~10% a month. Speaking as a massive consumer and reseller of compute infrastructure for massive imaging data sets, this has made communicating about this insane.
