I've received a few responses & seen others along the lines of the cops can't be beat, they will attack (they will & have) & Chow wise not to engage. But this is the job. It's a dereliction of leadership not to tackle this. Same with Ontario Liberal leadership candidates silent on it. Dereliction.

Per the gov't news release on bike lane removal, interesting to see the head of the Residential and Civil Construction Alliance of Ontario endorse this. Address: Vaughan. Writes op eds in the Sun urging road building like highway 413. Do all their members support this position? Might be good to ask.
"RCCAO supports infrastructure solutions that recognize the diverse ways Ontarians move through our communities. Well-planned infrastructure is about creating transportation networks that serve everyone. The Province's efforts to restore vehicle capacity while maintaining bike lanes where possible strikes an important balance between mobility, safety, and accessibility. RCCAO supports investments and policies that advance integrated infrastructure solutions and meet the needs of residents, businesses, and communities."
