A jury found Jennifer Gaskin guilty of manslaughter in 2002 in the death of her infant son. Following her wrongful conviction, Gaskin’s two other children were taken from her and put up for adoption. Gaskin always maintained she did nothing wrong to cause her son’s death.

Always sad to leave “the office” for another off-season. Would have been nice to have a little October baseball, but just like the vast majority of my 26 seasons on the full-time #Bluejays beat, we’re heading home after 162. You never know what the road ahead holds. Sure hope I’m back here in ‘27!
