Britain remains one of the most nature-depleted countries in the world, and wildlife decline continues while urgent action is needed.

🌿☕ Celandine (the yellow ones) are mentioned in C. S. Lewis’ The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe. When Aslan returns, the woodland turns from winter to spring, the ground covered in all directions with 💛 celandine flowers 📸 Taken on a walk around Battledown, Cheltenham. No lions were however seen..🌿

#February may still feel wintry, but look closely…new colours and fresh growth are already emerging!🌱 Tiny blooms, early leaves, and subtle shifts in the landscape are quietly signalling that spring is on its way. Take a look at what's appearing 👇

What I find really shocking, even beyond Winn's literal and literary fraud, is that not only did Penguin do no fact checking originally, it's now putting out her new book as if nothing happened. One of the world’s greatest publishers simply doesn't care about accuracy and can't be trusted.

Butterflies and moths are sounding the alarm. Nature in the UK is in crisis. 🚨 Wildlife and natural places are under pressure from development, climate change and habitat loss - and yet a new report, the Nuclear Regulatory Review, suggests weakening the protections that help keep what remains safe.
