Was bored with work, wanted to do something rewarding, I volunteer a few hours once a month for a charity. It's amazing. A boring Fess, but it is rewarding. Just do something good for someone, it will make you and more importantly someone else feel better. Do it, please.

Bought some vintage photos on eBay for crafting with and some of them used to belong to someone who lives two streets away!
An old photo from the 1930s or 1940s. Three people sat on grass. An older man with a knotted handkerchief on his head, a young boy in smart school uniform and school cap and an older woman throwing one arm out jovially.

How to overcome adversity (According to Marcus Aurelius) 1. Use it to do good for others 2. Be ruthlessly objective 3. View everything as an opportunity 4. Cultivate an inner citadel 5. Take it action by action 6. Prepare for the worst 7. Focus exclusively on what is in your power

Two tall elderly men chatting in the metro. “She’s a fruit loop she really is, she called me at 1am from Cyprus because her tortoise had died, she rang all her friends & family. She had it cremated but she’s keeping the shell for new frames for her glasses” (Surrounding passengers sniggering)

the world is a rough place these days, but there are tiny glimmers of light everywhere if you know where to look for example, my sister just texted that their youngest decided to take up the trumpet and was honking away all evening in the garage, driving them nuts, and that did bring me real joy

We want to start a gathering for folk interested in developing their language around systems change. We are looking for short accessible materials to use as discussion points in our meetings. Any suggestions? They need to be shorter things we can read there and then, so that no homework is needed.

The image is of a four panel comic.
In the first panel we see Sarah, the protagonist, next to a stick figure labeled “AI”. The stick figure says, “my outputs look just like yours now.”
The second panel zooms in on Sarah’s face. Above her we see text reading “I think”.
The third panel zooms in closer on Sarah’s face. Text above her reads “you missed”.
The fourth panel shows Sarah drawing happily in a sunlit room. The text above her reads “the point”.

This photograph captures exactly why I love our history. This brick was hand made about 1420, and is part of a grade 1 listed building. Whilst it was drying, an animal, possibly a small badger, left its imprint in the brick. How cool is that?
