Still kind of inconceivable how many people died or will die because of the death of USAID. And the world’s richest man did it almost as a joke

This is the thing about AI that I love so much. Think of all the morons you know (many on this site!) using and swearing by this tech that can change the output depending on who is controlling the AI. And those dumbasses still believe it should be used for anything regarding data!

🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Storytelling is part of what makes us HUMAN. The urge of people who lack self awareness to remove humans from the things that make us human makes me sick. Also, hooo boy, way to miss every single point made on the show in an over 60 year history. 🫠

New Horizons is now *three days away* from shutting off its two heliophysics instruments, simply because NASA has not provided the $2M in funding it had promised to the mission last year or this year. There is no science basis for shutting these off. Our earlier coverage:

As of today, the CDC has changed (reverted) their Covid guidance to make the vaccine recommended for all people over 18. In addition to being a smart public health move, this recommendation also means insurance must cover it. Read more here: www.cdc.gov/covid/hcp/va... Listen to a breakdown here:

frankly, congress (yes, both parties, and especially republicans) hasn’t been serious about funding public health adequately even post-pandemic. they will be under tremendous industry pressure to rebuild the military, and i don’t think they’ll spend what it’ll take to rebuild public health

Just helping with editing here. These bots aren’t sentient. They’re doing what they’re programmed to do. OpenAI, a private company supposedly bound by laws, committed federal crimes.

When fascists win, centrists get to feel good about themselves because they are kinder and more tolerant than those people. When progressives win, centrists find themselves cruel and narrow minded by comparison, and can't bear that feeling.

Every person running on the Dem side can say: 1. The GOP controls all branches of government. 2. Are you happy with how things are going? 3. Vote blue. 4. What do you have to lose? [use Trump's own words against him]. The end. lol.
