This actually is the root of a lot of my anger and frustration, and yes, grief. I spent years crafting accessible classrooms, advocating for tech, and now every measure I use for access is misused by (mostly able-bodied) students who want to cheat with gAI. Earlier this year I got laid off from in-house at a PE-owned company (less than a year after the PE firm bought it from the previous PE owners). It sucked! I'm at a firm now, which I have...feelings about, but at least (a) I'm employed; and (b) this tiny firm (probably) won't get bought by PE. 🤷‍♀️
