It has been a bit since I did one of these, which is too bad because they are so fun to write, and I get more positive comments about these posts than about any other type of post on this blog. Am I blogging about something that irritated me in a therapist Facebook group? Yes I am. Recently, a therapist shared that they do not understand why someone would have a fully telehealth practice because there is "no evidence" that telehealth has comparable outcomes to in-person therapy. This is false. Study after study after study has shown comparable outcomes to in-person therapy...as long as the therapist is competent to provide telehealth services.
