#Mathstoday Started Circle Theorems today with my Year 10's!! One of my favourite topics! Last year at MathsConf I went to a great session on it from @jemmaths.bsky.social on it. Decided to use the resources from that. Can't wait for next lesson where we are looking at subtension.

Not sure what phase of my life I’m in, but here’s that modelling balloon icosidodecahedron nobody asked for! In theory it could be made out of a single modelling balloon, although in reality they don’t make balloons long enough :(

Light bulb moment when looking at OATMaths resouces on solving simultaneous equations by elimination - using zero pairs/identical pairs to decide if you add or subtract - makes so much sense!
