Lethal injection is an attempt to civilize capital punishment, which is almost by definition uncivilized. Firing squad is obviously faster, cheaper, more effective, but then it’s too obvious that you’re killing someone, which we find distasteful.

The bizarre thing about this is that a lot of Fantasy apps are now built to make you do virtually no work or research. You can just draft a bunch of dudes and then put in Guy With Highest Number every week and do fine. It takes 60 seconds to set a fantasy lineup every week, tops.
