TfL are clearly not serious about helping people choose cheaper, more sustainable modes when it costs TWO AND A HALF TIMES as much to cross the river by bike on the Rotherhithe ferry as it does to drive through Blackwall or #SilvertownTunnel off-peak.

There is a south bound cycle lane with a give way just after so cyclists have to somehow give way as they enter the centre of the junction.

Pedestrian islands are not refuges. They don't slow down drivers, & they leave pedestrians in a hazard or place. If there's space for a pedestrian island, there's space to widen the pavements, narrow the carriageway, and install a raised crossing.

Well thanks! I use my ebikes as my mobility aid & as all EAPC compliant eBikes, they're now faster & classed as cycles. So why discriminate against ebikes users coz of bikers using illegal unregistered electric motorcycles which should be enforced than BS about banning legal ebikes.

More "balance" crap from the BBC. It's well known now that 20mph: Reduces pollution. Reduces collisions and casualty rates as well as deaths. Reduces insurance costs. But they "balance" against some impatient drivers who "get frustrated". That's just bad driving. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

I see a lot of people complaining about the undoubtedly stressful conditions at present on London's roads. But I see few people complaining about motor vehicles. Yet in the last 24 hours three vulnerable road users have died after being hit by people driving motor vehicles.

Not mentioned because it wasn't in the stuff that came out of that Guardian piece and cos the causal link between bigger cars and increased congestion hasn't been made well yet AFAIK. I suspect that's not far away and 'bad' parking is named as a huge issue, so there is likely to be a link no doubt.

3.3 An associated listed building consent is sought for:

3.50 The Proposed Development would be car free. All existing car parking will be removed as part of the
