New weather station has been delivered and installed. Those trees weren't that big 15 years ago, I may need a longer pole. This sensor pack is solar powered so I don't need to change batteries. I now have wind obeservations again cos the old wind and rain sensors on the old station were long dead.

I sometimes wonder how much the fact that Health ministers are usually drawn from the demographic that uses the NHS the least (able bodied, white men, young-middle aged) is a factor in it's issues. It probably plays a part in the obsession with apps and convenience over continuity and human contact.

Sigh. The cowardly driver also fled the scene then dumped his car. Just a 2 year driving ban and 100 hours of community work too. Jail may not always be the answer, but longer suspended sentences, work and driving bans would help.
