Oh the weird personality quirks of dogs. For years, Pomme (a rescued, traumatized ex-breeder bichon) was scared of me. She's just coming down from that, which is wonderful, but she still tends to stare at me like I'm a serial killer.

The Naval Academy faculty has been roughly 50% civilian and 50% military since its founding in 1845. I was a Chemistry major (1972) and part of the military faculty as a Chemistry instructor from 1975-1978. Civilian profs were the core and foundation of the department.
