Had a fun game of #TrenchCrusade last night. The Lions of Ioannina finally ended the Heretic Legion’s winning streak in a game of Trench Warfare, 14-12. Highlights include my sniper Priest Jacob blowing an Anointed’s head off Turn 1, the War Wolf and a Shock Trooper both failing their attacks.
A tabletop game of Trench Crusade, painted New Antioch kitbashes vs Heretic Legion, a shocktrooper and combat engineer advance towards the War Wolf assault beast. Two shocktroopers attempt a pincer attack on the War Wolf and Heretic Priest, they will all fail their rolls. Final turn of the game as the Artillery Witch tries to drop a bomb on herself to take out my Gun Kata Sniper Priest

Ossoff is definitely not listening to Yglesias/Klein/PodSave reactionary centrist crowd, he does not think his marginal voter is a white-supremacist, and that is what makes him such an attractive candidate to the vast majority of US who are not white-supremacists.

I will say, I am far from convinced that this is the automatic trick for winning that a lot of people do, but it is important that *somebody* say this stuff in public, because that's the only way we reestablish any kind of societal norms or push the boundaries of acceptability away from this filth.

The wych elm tree, located in Newcastle, County Down, owes its name to its near horizontal trunk, which has grown sideways owing to the strong seaside winds coming off the Irish Sea. An update on sponsors pulling out of #Disinfo2026 at the last minute. Michael Shellenberger has followed up his earlier email to panelists participating in the event with another email, that include the following statements:
Since then the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote to me: "Upon becoming aware of the above-mentioned discussion topics, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania withdrew from any participation in the conference. The Ministry has also formally dissociated itself from the conference content and requested that the organisers remove all references to the Ministry from conference materials, communications, and promotional activities."
Andrius Katinas of the Radio and Television
Commission of Lithuania wrote to me that he has withdrawn as a speaker "in light of the differences of opinion that have arisen with the organisers of the
'Disinfo 2026' conference regarding the assessment of the role of the United States."
