It happens to my YouTube TV too, but that gives you the option to verify via your phone's GPS to correct it, and without that alternative for MLBTV I end up stuck. I'm v rural, but I have a cable ISP too, it never happens on there. Only T-Mobile. 000

Last year this issue came up when the Mets were in Chicago b/c it said I was in their broadcast area. I never figured out how to fix it. 110

John @sccherbatsky.bsky.social · 25/06/2026As others have said, the plug could be cut off and a new one could be spliced onto the existing cord. Finding a workable plug will be easier. Can test with a multimeter to ensure functionality afterwards. Then test under A/C load and closely monitor at first. But it should work. 140
