My greatest frustrating has been with policy wonks who persist in thinking we can just keep doing normal policy analysis ("calling balls and strikes") in this situation. The President of the United States is both lawless and out of his mind. That preempts all normal discussion.

As a manager/exec, aside from recognizing that yes you are legally obligated to provide such accommodations, you should honestly just recognize that sometimes different people have different needs than you do and this is good and normal and part of your job to accommodate to make the business go.

And I just realized most people are probably not aware that having a drink in the workplace is a reasonable accommodation under the ADA, and that includes the interview. In the interest of a level playing field alone, I'd rather allow all than require someone to have to ask for that accommodation.
