I would bet “I had kids and regret it” is, relative to how many people’s actions show they hold it and it how often it’s espoused, probably the most common unvoiced opinion in the world. I’m not saying the taboo is bad! Not all taboos are bad, pretty clear positive reason for that one.

Apparently Bernie--who supposedly sees Abdul as his progressive heir apparent on M4A--hasn't given a dime of his $23 million war chest to help. 👀
El-Sayed was vastly outspent during a contentious Democratic primary. However, he emerged victorious after prominent progressives, including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), campaigned with him.

After his victory, progressive allies pledged to support El-Sayed in the general election, casting the race as a test of whether their brand of economic populism can win in a swing state.
"I'm going to do my best in every way to see that he's elected to the U.S. Senate," Sanders told Semafor last month. "We're going to do everything we can."
Between the lines: Sanders, who has $23 million in his campaign account, has not transferred money to El-Sayed's campaign.

GOOD NEWS! Researchers have discovered a new antibiotic, known as manikomycin, that may be a bulwark in the fight against drug-resistant superbugs. By attacking the ribosome in a never-before-seen way, manikomycin can evade the existing mechanisms pathogens have developed to resist antibiotics.

It's great to see tailoring accommodate such extreme movement today. This level of tailoring was a bit more common in the past, as you can see in old films featuring Fred Astaire or Gene Kelly, but many modern suits will lift off the wearer's neck even when they're just walking.

Probably a few factors in play there, including Flanagan not being a great candidate (not a bad one, but not great), but it does seem like the biggest issue is Walz becoming very unpopular and the whole fraud scandal damaging the state Dem govt. This stuff still matters on a local level

The thing that messes me up, living in the metro van area is that 100 homes in the suburb =~ 100 million dollars, and that 1000 homes (roughly making up my neighbourhood) = 1 billion dollars. So 1 billionaire has the equivalent wealth of 1000 homeowners with a mostly paid off mortgage
