That would be a 16 point swing from the 2024 presidential. A uniform swing would give Dems +7 or 8 in the Senate (Kansas is just about R+16). In the House there are like 80 Republican-held seats that are PVI R+8 or below.

I think the thing about this is that Bush sees it as a rebuke to Paxton, not as an endorsement of the Trump-era GOP. Because he sees it as just the default that he'd support all the Republican congressional candidates.
