I am actually grateful for social media today. If you are under 25, you are getting a more honest accounting of the post 9/11 era than I got about the post-Vietnam era than I did as a young person. I attribute this 100% to social media. Traditional media and US politicians cannot be counted on.

There are approximately 15 trans athletes this applies to. In K-12, the number of trans girls in sports is five. In college the number is fewer than ten, according to the NCAA President. West Virginia passed a law which SCOTUS upheld in June to keep ONE trans girl in WV from playing sports.
