The "AI" could XX & hack XXX, well that's called creating a virus, if you create a virus yes you can use your virus to hack XXX. That's not because its "super intelligent" its because you created a virus which you shouldn't be allowed to do.

Thank you for the explanation. Really appreciate the detail. I disagree because having someone on the board who actively pushes to increase harm for vulnerable groups would be awful. She could also be easily influenced by the FSU. Hopefully if we agree on the first 3 it won’t come to this.

Indeed, if it was truly that easy and doable, surely people would be doing it already. Like, the home-grown and preserved food and home-sewn clothes of my childhood were great, but required the full-time (unpaid) labour of a whole adult (guess which one). And goods prices were very different, too.

This comparison between what's in VFF's "People's Position" report, submitted to the Inquiry, & distributed amongst its vast membership vs what's in the Phase 2 official report may help others, incl. NZ journalists, understand the network's central role in creating splintered realities. #nzpol
Row one covers viral risk and clinical outcomes. VFF claims the government exaggerated case numbers and mortality to justify an elimination strategy and argues COVID-19 posed risks similar to a severe influenza season. The inquiry reports epidemiological evidence showing much higher hospitalisation, intensive care use, and mortality than seasonal influenza, with risk remaining elevated until immunity increased through vaccination and prior infection.

Row two addresses alleged synthetic DNA contamination in mRNA vaccines. VFF claims vaccines contain harmful levels of synthetic DNA and an SV40 promoter-enhancer that could cause cancer or genomic alteration. Regulators including Medsafe and the European Medicines Agency state that trace residual DNA appears in many biological products and remains far below safety limits. Scientific reviews show the SV40 fragment lacks the components required for oncogenic activity, and serious complications occur more often after infection than vaccination.

Row three concerns alleged suppression of early treatments. VFF claims authorities discredited Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine to protect vaccine authorisations. The inquiry cites large clinical trials, including RECOVERY and TOGETHER, which found no reduction in hospitalisation or mortality.

Row four examines behavioural science in public health communication. VFF describes messaging and behavioural “nudges” as psychological manipulation. The inquiry frames them as crisis risk communication intended to coordinate behaviour and protect vulnerable groups.

Row five covers international cooperation. VFF portrays the World Health Organization and pandemic agreements as threats to national sovereignty. The inquiry describes global data sharing and coordination as necessary for detecting emerging threats and developing countermeasures while states retain domestic authority.Row one covers viral risk and clinical outcomes. Shame, shame, puppy shame, all the donkeys know our name
NZ Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters have released a joint statement condemning "in the strongest terms" Iran's "indiscriminate" retaliatory attacks on Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, but not condemning the illegal 'pre-emptive' strikes on Iran that occurred in the midst of peace negotiations and which have been CONDEMNED BY THE UN SECRETARY-GENERAL

"We cannot risk further regional escalation, and civilian life must be protected."

"New Zealand has consistently condemned Iran's nuclear programme, its destabilising activities in the region and elsewhere, and its repression of its own people," the statement read.
"Iran has, for decades, defied the will and expectations of the international community. The legitimacy of a government rests on the support of its people. The Iranian regime has long since lost that support.

"In this context, we acknowledge that the actions taken overnight by the US and Israel were designed to prevent Iran from continuing to threaten international peace and security," the statement said.

The pair called for negotiations to continue and expressed hope the military escalation in the Mideast, described as a "crisis", "ends as quickly as possible".

Trans people are one of the clearest targets of the current fascist movement. You beat fascism with solidarity. You do solidarity by defending the targets of fascism. Sacrificing a targeted group to the fascists as an appeal to moderates and demanding that the group shows 'solidarity' is fucked.

Stats NZ now estimates that 1 in 7 children live in households where they experience material poverty – 156,000. That means households report missing out on essentials, live in cold & damp housing, because of cost. That's the highest number since 2015. For a country as wealthy as NZ that is a sin.

Despite what they have claimed - and undoubtedly what they will claim when asked - SuFW have made it very clear in their Ia Tangata submission that they resolutely do not want trans and non-binary people in Aotearoa to be legally protected from discrimination.
We do not consider that this second category can be explicitly protected under the
HRA. We believe it offers too many scenarios and options including no real way of
determining whether or not an individual is even in the group... In the case of ‘non-binary or trans-identifying’ people, where confirmation of sex
stereotypes is maintained (i.e. no body alteration), and gender identity is based on
self-identification only, this group is unlikely to suffer discrimination in the public arena
over which the HRA has jurisdiction.
