Toomaj, the famous Iranian rapper and freedom fighter who has been one of the biggest targets of the Islamic regime, has posted this statement. Toomaj has been out of prison for the past few years and has sacrificed a great deal fighting for freedom.

toomajofficial "Evacuate Tehran" is nothing more than a populist slogan meant to later claim: "We didn't intend to kill Iranian civilians; they just refused to leave the war zone."
But how are over 9 million people - without fuel, often without enough savings to relocate, and with no second home in another city - supposed to evacuate Tehran?
If your intention is to kill the people of Iran, at least have the honesty not to hide the burden of that responsibility.
Your war is not with the people of Iran. If you attack them, you are, in truth, killing hostages.
And you know very well that such a crime will plant seeds of hatred that could deprive generations - both ours and yours — of the peace and calm we all long for.
No child should become a victim of decisions made by politicians hiding behind the iron walls of their palaces.

Biological sex is not a static reality. Scholars have spent decades pointing out how assuming a sex binary is not only wrong but also unethical as it erases the lives of those who are embodied differently. Courts should not give effect to “common sense” when such sense is unethical and unscientific.

I sent an -admittedly angry - email in relation to the US Military use of Shannon Airport to my local representative Cathal Crowe TD and received an appalling reply. I am posting the correspondence for you all to see.

"Cathal,
While Ennis Court House wastes time and taxpayer money on activists whose only crime is standing on the right side of history, Shannon Airport - a civilian, commercial, non-military facility - forms part of the US Military Complex. Weapons fly through Irish airspace, bound for Palestine, where they will kill thousands more.

Many have written to you over these issues, all of us suffering no illusions as to your response: at best Fianna Fáil bluster, at worst total silence.

You should be deeply ashamed of your complicity in Netenyahu's genocide, a goal he now fully realises with Trump and Von Der Leyen's backing. A braver man would make a stand for Clare, for justice, for anything at all.

Mary Lou McDonald’s party surely feels embittered having lost out on a slice of government the last two elections in a row despite quite clearly being the strongest major party on housing, the issue that matters most to the Irish people. It is only natural that they are now seeking to cast the net beyond the corners they have covered (housing, United Ireland). Why they have settled on Telegraph wet dream issues rather than the kind of things that would actually improve quality of life in Ireland, however, is still somewhat of a headscratcher.

Sinn Féin is postponing its conference on trans rights until 2026, after meeting with LGBT+ groups last week to try to rebuild trust. I met with my local SF TD and my impression is that this isn't as divisive an issue as the leadership seems to think. They got it wrong on migration, and now this.
