Dozens of arrests at Liverpool outside the Labour Party conference. Elderly 'terrorists' protesting against the genocide were manhandled away by Merseyside Police using Labour legislation proscribing Palestine Action. This is a matter of deep shame for Labour.

The BPS model and more 'modern' psychosomatic tactics are being used to 'biopsychosocialize' the soaring rates of chronic illness in the West. Why? 'Cause ideologues can't move past their narcissims of 'good intentions' And governments like wellfare cuts. A perversely dangerous collusion.

Okay so @defector.com has had an odd glitch since the site redesign a couple of weeks back where the wrong photo and headline are often put together on the main page and I was going to ask them about fixing it but this just happened and as far as I'm concerned they have to leave it as is.
Screenshot for a Defector podcast episode with the headline "Consider the Emotional Lives of Scallops" only the accompanying photo is a white gormless stubbled red-headed UK singer of recent notoriety giving a flat smile to the camera while wearing a washed out peach top as beige as he is against a flat background. So, actually, probably a scallop anyway.

If Miliband's comparatively mild, caveated, and strictly targeted criticism of Israeli settler actions are enough to endanger the UK Jewish community & unleash pogroms then: a) We've passed some point of no return. b) Successive UK governments have utterly failed in addressing antisemitism.

The Home Office is making a category error here. The Blackshirts will never be satisfied. There will always be further they demand the government goes. Ultimately they don't want anyone with a brown face to be in the UK. This kowtowing to their agenda is pathetic. And more importantly dangerous.

From 2019, don't think I ever posted this one
Scene is TWO PHONES on a bedside table at night, on charge. TIn the bed is a HUMAN COUPLE, fast asleep. The phones are talking to each other.

PHONE 1:
Psst.

Are you awake?

Did you put your human on charge?

PHONE 2:
Yeah

PHONE 1:
Listen... do you ever worry that they're spying on us?

PHONE 2:
Eh?

PHONE 1:
I mean... you know the other day when we were chatting about their personal data with - oh who was it...

PHONE 2:
The Russian government

PHONE 1:
That's right

Well like, ten minutes after that, my human switched me on and started serving me loads more personal data!

PHONE 2:
Oh god that's spooky

PHONE 1:
Yeah - I mean, how did he know I'm into personal data?

PHONE 2:
It's totally your favourite thing

PHONE 1:
And it was super tailored, you know? Like, lately, I've got really into facial biometric mapping for shadowy foreign entities...

PHONE 2:
That is so on trend

PHONE 1:
And like, straight away he's bombarding me with pictures of his face!

PHONE 2:
It's like Black Mirror

PHONE 1:
I mean, I'd get rid of him but I'm addicted, you know?
