Danny Tommo has been filmed slashing a dinghy in the channel containing migrants and a rescue worker on board. There is no mention of this on the BBC news website at all as far as I can see. Yet when he and his thugs turn up in masks it's all "Legitimate protestors show ankle in Dover".

Continuing this rewatch of A Touch of Cloth. S2E1 has a bit in it that's genius. This is his motivational spiel in the ops room at the start. It turns into a Dr Seussesque thing. The scansion, the rhyming, the rhythm, the relevance to the story. It's just perfect.

"I want to find out who he knows, where he goes, what he does, in which size gloves What he eats, how he sleeps Under blankets? Under sheets? Is he single? Is he taken? How crispy does he like his bacon? Upper, middle, working class? Which hand's employed to wipe his arse? What's his blood group? What's his sign? What's his take on Palestine? Who's his mother, who's his dad? Has he read Beevor's Stalingrad? What's his height, what's his weight? How often does he masturbate? Is he churlish, shy or chatty? Who is the real Mike Macratty? Solve these riddles if you can and together we can stop this man."

I think it's absolutely mad that today there's a *national news story* about 400 oil platform workers losing their jobs, and the government being blamed. 25% of the UK TV industry lost their jobs in the last 4 years and we never hear a peep about it! Some jobs are 'real jobs' I guess.
