If inequality hadn't exploded after 1979, middle-income households would be making $30,000 MORE per year. That's a second income. A paid-off car. A college fund. Instead, we're turning hobbies into side hustles just to keep up. The money didn't disappear. It went to the top.

Harris' total number of popular votes, as well as her per capita share, decreased massively compared with Biden's 2020 numbers. I don't think you can say it was all purity-politics leftists bailing on Harris (who nonetheless voted for Biden in 2020).
a chart showing vote share breakdowns in US presidential elections going back fifty years, with bars colored to represent the portion of votes for Democratic candidates, Republican candidates, 3rd party candidates, and eligible voters who did not vote.

The chart shows "Did Not Vote" winning by large margins every year except 2020.

The main thing I have to say to the young generation of Americans is that your
grandparents and great-grandparents committed a kind of accounting fraud when they ran our country a century ago with social security, and at the time it was a reasonable affordance to grant our leaders, who were dealing with an economic depression and a world war, but nonetheless they did commit the fraud, and they ended up buying all sorts of extravagant things using the fraudulent gains, including what became the thing we now understand to be the high-modern technocratic nation-state, and that is glorious and also bad and all that, but the thing is there's still the issue about the accounting fraud, whose debt is coming due and is coming due fast.
It is best to consider this with as minimal residue of sentiment as possible, to really sit with it, to stare it coldly in the face.
Unwinding the great fraud of the high modernists is your job, whether you wish it to be or not.

The image features a collage of various photographs, including a black and white photo of a woman, possibly Margaret Thatcher, with the words "That CIA sends in death squads" written above her. The collage also includes a photo of a man in a suit and tie, possibly a soldier, with the words "That CIA sends in death squads" written above him.

In addition to these two main photos, there are several other smaller images scattered throughout the collage. Some of these images depict people in various poses and settings, while others showcase different objects and scenes. The overall theme of the collage seems to revolve around the idea of the CIA's involvement in sending in death squads.

I’m ready to answer the call.
Andrea LaFlamme for US Senate 2026

As a victim of sexual assault, myself, I'm still processing the news that came out yesterday about Graham Platner. I have a lot of feelings about the public reaction to it, but I want to focus my energy on the path forward and the needs of Maine.

Mainers showed up in a huge way in the primary. That's really exciting and it's necessary if we're going to beat Susan Collins. Maine voters made their voices heard. They made it clear that they want a candidate who isn't a part of the political realm--someone who supports Medicare for All, workers' rights, and reproductive rights, a person that fights with our communities against ICE, and, most importantly, someone who isn't afraid to speak truth to power. All of those things bring me so much hope. I'm proud of Maine for stepping up and I'm hopeful that we can use that energy to make some incredible policy changes, bring relief to struggling Mainers and beat Susan Collins in November.

If you've been following along on social media, you've seen that even after the primary, l've continued to show up for Maine in any way I can. As a young voice, a union leader, public health professor, and lifelong feminist, I've championed all of the things that Maine has said that they want in a candidate. I want to thank you all for your incredible messages of support since the primary.

I'm still here and I still believe that I'm the best person to take on Susan Collins.

We're going to see things start to move really quickly over the next week. We don't know what the future of the Senate race looks like, but one thing I can say with certainty is, whether l'm in an elected position or not, I'm always going to be here-standing up for Mainers and leading us forward.

Together, we lead.
