British Conservatives: "Russia has disgracefully interfered in politics in France, Germany, Sweden, Hungary, Moldova, Romania and invaded Ukraine. They even meddled in the US elections." Also British Conservatives: "What? Russia! Interfere in Brexit? Ridiculous! Just a tired old conspiracy theory."

Need to let this out. Prominent producer of some Tory Internet pages for deeply into politics types is now on BlueSky & now most of his posts are BlueSkyish. "Ha ha wasn't Truss awful!" "Stand up for RNLI!" Remember him on BirdPlace. Fanatical Brexiter. You made those things, mate. Straight block.

There are some issues with this platform but its functionality (features like the nuclear block) enables people to have a pretty sanitised experience if they choose to. Going back to X is both indefensible and not obviously going to generate a huge amount of engagement.

Simply untrue. This is not a proposal for the UK to "rejoin the Single Market" - it's a proposal for dynamic regulatory alignment on goods. No free movement, very vague on services. Highly unlikely to be negotiable, but whatever it is it's not the single market.

BBC’s coverage of Reform’s welfare plans is frankly bizarre. Headlines in Ten, leading on some radio networks. Reform are not even the official opposition and the plans have less credibility than Count Binface. Will BBC News do the same for Lib Dem and Greens policy two years out from an election?

Opposite sits UK Chief Braggard David Davis & team with absolutely nothing except one at the far end with a small folder & a pen, grinning like arses. The Barnier Staircase. A simple infographic created by the EU team to explain to simpletons how it wasn't possible and was illogical to seek to be part of certain EU institutions while holding to red lines that would stop them functioning. Why be part of something to gain benefits that you will never get because you'll disable how they work. Full EU membership at the top. Lewis' conflation of migration with inner-EU FoM is blatant disinformation. The notion that the EU didn't realize the UK could leave is similarly misleading: the EU was prepared, it was the UK that was plan- and clue-less about leaving. Listening to these two, the UK still is clueless 🤷
